Orders & Shipping

When will my order ship?

We hand-pour every luxury Wick & Lark candle in small batches. Most orders are dispatched within 1–2 working days so your scented candle arrives fresh and ready to light.

 

How long does delivery take?

UK delivery for our vegan candles usually takes 2–4 working days after dispatch. International shipping times vary depending on location.

How much is shipping?

Live rates are shown at checkout. Occasionally, we run free UK shipping promotions, please check the banner at the top of our store.

 

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Please note customs duties and taxes may apply in your country.

What are Wick & Lark candles made from?

We use a vegan coconut, soy wax blend, natural linen cotton wicks, and premium, phthalate free fragrance oils to create clean-burning candles with a beautiful scent throw.

 

Are your candles cruelty-free and vegan?

Yes. Every Wick & Lark candle is 100% vegan and cruelty free.

 

Where are they made?

All our candles are hand-poured in London, UK, in small batches for consistent quality.


Are your materials ethically sourced?

Absolutely. We work only with trusted suppliers who share our commitment to sustainable and ethical home fragrance.

What size are the candles and how long do they burn?

Our signature 30cl candle (approx 200g net) offers an impressive 45-hour burn time when used as directed, perfect for long evenings or slow weekends.

Candle Care & Safety

How do I get the best burn from my candle?


  • First burn: Let the wax melt fully to the edges (2–3 hours) to prevent tunnelling.
  • Trim the wick: Keep it at 5 mm before each burn for a clean flame.
  • Burn time: 2–3 hours per session, maximum 4 hours.
  • Placement: On a heat-safe surface, away from drafts, children, and pets.

 

Why is my candle producing soot?

This can happen if the wick is too long. Extinguish, trim to 5 mm, and relight for a cleaner burn.

My candle tunneled, can I fix it?

Yes. Allow it to burn until the wax reaches the edge on your next light, or use a candle warmer to even out the surface.

 

Do you offer gift packaging?

Every Wick & Lark luxury candle comes in a presentation box; premium gift wrapping is available at checkout when offered.


Wholesale & Custom Orders

Do you offer wholesale or bulk candles?

Yes. We supply wholesale candles in the UK and custom bulk orders for events. Contact us at wickandlark@outlook.com.


Can you create custom scents or private label candles?

Yes — ideal for weddings, corporate gifts, or brand collaborations. Minimum order quantities apply.


Returns & Refunds

Can I return my candle?

Unused, unopened candles can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Please contact us first for instructions.


What if my candle arrives damaged?

We’re truly sorry. Email wickandlark@outlook.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos and we’ll make it right.
